Cosmoa - Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

Heyo! Welcome to Cosmoa's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy ^_^

These terms are brought to you by Creative Business Name LLC. Yes, that is our legit name. We're gonna try to not have a stupid long agreement that you can't read through because it's way too boring. Instead, we'll make a stupid long agreement that you CAN read through because it's fun and quirky. So here are the guidelines in which you must comply with if you are to use this website, as a registered user or otherwise:

1) DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE IF YOU ARE UNDER 13 YEARS OLD. I know, some of you will be under 13 and will want to use Cosmoa. It sucks, but you can't.
      Because the adult world incorrectly labels you as useless helpless children, I can't risk having angry parents getting Cosmoa in trouble if you somehow see something extremely unsettling to you on here. So please, stay off this website :/

2) Don't upload or make available anything that is illegal for you to upload or make available. Read that again so you understand please. I have no idea how else to phrase it :(
      This includes copyrighted material that you do not own the rights to (and that also doesn't fall under Fair Use), but it's really anything that is illegal to upload or have exist anywhere publicly.

Don't provide instructions for illegal acts either. That's also a big no no.

3) Don't upload or make available certain types of content, such as:
          -Content that is pornographic or overtly sexual (nudity is also prohibited)
          -Content that is deemed to be unsuitable for people 13 years of age
          -Content that promotes or glorifies acts of violence
          -Content that may contain computer viruses and/or other types of malicious code

4) Don't use Cosmoa to destroy Cosmoa. This means, do not use any part of the service to:
          -Make the service limited or unusable for others
          -Collect user info or any personal info about any user
          -Do anything involving any part of the service using automated means (Use or creation of bot accounts, automated interactions with Cosmoa, etc. are
            prohibited)
          -Threaten, stalk, or harass any user
          -Spam or excessively post content
          -Try to find ways to exploit any part of the service (for instance, uploading content without first creating an account, stuff like that :P)
          -Exploit/Circumvent any loophole or security flaw (IF YOU DO FIND ANY SECURITY FLAWS OR VULNERABILITIES, please contact security@cosmoa.net)

5) Just know that by using the service, you grant us a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual and fully sublicensable right and license to use or modify
      anything you upload or make available to others through Cosmoa for promotional/marketing purposes.

Basically, you let us use whatever you upload, maybe change it a little, and post it elsewhere on the internet to promote Cosmoa :P

6) Cosmoa is not liable for anything users decide to do on Cosmoa. As a platform, we have no control over what others decide to post, but we will
      remove content that violates these terms. If you find any content that violates these terms of service, please send an email to report@cosmoa.net and
      we will manually review it.

7) Finally, just to clear up the confusion: no, cereal is not a soup. Feel free to debate that but just know you're wrong :)

Oh right, might as well mention what data we collect and what we do with that data and such:

The only data we use from you is data you enter into the website manually. This includes your email address, username, password, comment(s), and/or any upload info you provide. We don't even store raw IP Addresses (We do store them hashed though). HOWEVER, our servers log your browser version/type, what time you visited a page, and which pages were requested! We also (obviously) share your uploads (and metadata associated with it) with anyone who has access to it on Cosmoa, whether that access means literally staring at it on the website, literally staring at it embedded in other sites, or, if you're feeling extra daring, literally staring at it. We also don't sell any information about anyone, nor do we intentionally share personal information with third parties. So yeh :P
